Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for acting at Preparatory school after which she moved to Ohio with her family in early 1970s. She attended theatre classes in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago performing in stage roles for many years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in TV shows and films. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she played Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late the 1990's. She was then placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler played her part on Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film and a few other films included her. Gunn has also appeared on the stage in a David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the play Numbered Day. It is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio-based plays. The relationship with Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story in Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and its eventual demise arguably echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final days of his life.
